Mineral water typically contains natural minerals that are beneficial for the body. However, there is also a type of water known as "demineralized water" or "distilled water" that has different characteristics. Demineralized water does not contain natural minerals like magnesium, calcium, sodium, or potassium. It is pure water that is commonly used in various industries, laboratories, and medical devices. Some people may experience digestive disturbances after consuming demineralized water due to the lack of minerals and ions that typically aid in the digestion process.

d. Processing Risks

The demineralization process involves the use of specific technology and chemicals that can increase the risk of contamination if not managed properly.

When choosing drinking water, natural mineral water with minerals that are good for health is a better choice than demineralized water. While demineralized water has its specific uses in industry and laboratories, its use as everyday drinking water is generally not recommended due to the risk of mineral deficiencies and taste issues.
